HVAC Training in English, Two Evenings a Week

Learn to install, diagnose, and repair heating and air conditioning systems in a working classroom in Dyer, Indiana. Classes meet Tuesday and Thursday evenings, so you can train for a new trade while you keep the job you have now.

Every class combines technical instruction with hands-on work on real HVAC equipment. Students build practical skills in electrical controls, heating systems, air conditioning, airflow, refrigerants, and troubleshooting.

Students work with Rios Trade School equipment and tools during class, giving them the opportunity to practice with the same types of systems and components they may encounter in the field.

The program includes training related to EPA 608 and A2L Low-GWP Refrigerant Safety. Certification testing, books, and A2L training are handled separately and should not be presented as included in tuition.
